Dear Senator,

WHEREAS, the United Nations Global Climate Treaty provides for creation of a top-down global government entity which would undermine U.S. sovereignty; and

WHEREAS, Cap & Trade is in fact a massive Global Warming National Energy Tax on literally everything Americans buy and use, and is based upon bad science and faulty assumptions (which are publicly contested as per more than 31,000 scientists);

WHEREAS, President Obama admitted Cap & Trade will cause Americans' utility costs to "necessarily skyrocket";

WHEREAS, analysis shows Cap & Trade will be most damaging to middle class Americans and lower income households, costing THOUSANDS per year in energy and basic goods price increases;

WHEREAS, studies show Cap & Trade will cause a dramatic exodus of nearly one million American jobs every year to highly polluting countries, causing sweeping layoffs and collapse of industry;

WHEREAS, the emails uncovered in the "Climategate" scandal prove that some of the world's top climate experts have made a mockery of objective peer review, destroyed requested public documents, blacklisted "uncooperative" scientists, manipulated data, and committed outright fraud; and

WHEREAS, Cap & Trade is nothing less than an unprecedented scheme for social engineering and government control over the lifestyle and standard of living of individuals and families; and

WHEREAS, evidence that global temperatures have been falling since 1998 and reputable government agencies show that our planet earth has actually been cooling for the last several years; and

THEREFORE, I demand that you Senators OPPOSE Cap & Trade and any other Global Warming Tax schemes which seek to punish productive and commonplace human activity, and which will destroy our flagging economy while rewarding bureaucrats, global carbon credit traders & speculators.

I also demand that President Obama refuse withdraw from any such proceedings, and that my US Senators to oppose ratification of any form of "climate treaty."
